Welcome to Yard Box Logistics & Courier Service. By using our courier, delivery, and logistics services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or sending a package.


1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to Yard Box Logistics & Courier Service.

  • “Customer” refers to any individual or business using our services.

  • “Package” or “Shipment” means any item(s) tendered to us for delivery.

  • “Recipient” means the person or entity receiving the package.


2. Services Offered

We provide courier, delivery, and logistics services, including same-day, next-day, and scheduled deliveries, as well as business logistics support.


3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete delivery details (name, address, phone number).

  • Ensure the package is securely packed for safe transport.

  • Pay delivery fees in full at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Confirm that the contents of the package are lawful and permitted for transport.


4. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

  • Hazardous or flammable materials

  • Illegal substances

  • Firearms or weapons

  • Cash

  • Perishable goods without proper packaging

  • Fragile or high-value items without adequate disclosure and packaging


5. Delivery & Timeframes

  • We aim to deliver all packages within the agreed timeframe; however, delays caused by traffic, weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances are not the responsibility of the Company.

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless stated in writing.


6. Liability & Limitations

  • Yard Box is not responsible for delays outside of our control.

  • In the event of loss or damage, liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment or a maximum of JMD $15,000, whichever is less, unless the Customer has purchased additional insurance.

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses (e.g., lost profits, missed opportunities).


7. Claims

  • Claims for lost or damaged packages must be reported within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery date.

  • Proof of value and proof of damage must be provided when making a claim.


8. Payment & Fees

  • All fees must be paid before or upon collection unless prior arrangements are made.

  • Failure to pay may result in refusal of service, additional charges, or legal action.


9. Right to Refuse Service

Yard Box reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer or shipment that violates these Terms & Conditions or poses a risk to our staff, vehicles, or other shipments.


10. Privacy Policy

Customer information (addresses, phone numbers, package details) will only be used for delivery purposes and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.


11. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect once posted on our official platforms.


12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes will be settled in Jamaican courts.
